strip-ease product

Was perusing the miniscule auto body section at local Wally world. Stripease has a product that they caim converts rust into a black primer like surface that is completely sandable. Have you all ever seen this product and what is your opinion of it? As always, any and all input welcomed and appreciated!

It doesn't work all that well. Stick with products like POR-15 or Rust Bullet, otherwise you're pretty much wasting money and time to only go back and do it again,, with even more rust the next go round.

You said, stick to rust bullet...does that work well then? could i paint my whole truck in that and then paint over it as if it were a regular primer?
