Automatic door lock ?

Automatic door lock ?
The auto door lock on my wifes 99 Taurus quit working yesterday. The dome light stays on and the light in the dash for the door open is on and the doors won't automaticaly lock. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem or had any ideas how to fix the problem?

open the doors. get a can of PB Blaster, and spray each door latch liberally. then open and close the door a few times, spray in the latch and open and close it again. i usually do each door 3-4 times. the door ajar/dome light switch is in the door latch, and gets cruddy after a while.
once you get the switch clean the lights will go out.
i usually have to do the neighbors car once a year.
