Hi,Im daniel.Im new to this forum but a long time ford truck enthusiast.
but,I still have alot to learn.i was wondering if anyone knows a post that has this or is this a new ?. I have a 92 ford f150 xlt custom 300 4.9 with a mazda trans would it be possible to swap out the 300 for the 302 and still keep my trans.I know,i have to switch engine mounts wich aint bad because i found a donor with a 302 but no trans, And i would hate to get have to buy another trans bein,i just replace this one this winter.

hay thanks for the info.the main reason i want to switch it is because i love the sound of a v8.more then the straigth six.
