2-3 shift extremly high
Hello everyone,
My '96 4.0L Aerostar is shifting into 3rd at about 55 mph. It's intermittent, but more frequent when cold. All other shifts are normal.
Does this trans have a mechanical governor like the old A4LD'S? (I hope so because I'll change it out).
Fluid level good, but will be changed soon. No leaks. TPS is new.
