Air Filter
I have a 1979 F250 with a 400 V8. I went to the local auto parts store and ordered up an new air filter. I was too small in diameter by about an inch. The one that came in the truck is about 11 inches in diameter and about two inches tall. Any advice? Ideas? Lemme know. Thanks.

Make sure your filter housing is original. On these old trucks many have been replaced. Filters can also be looked up by dimension if the housing has been changed. Otherwise get another clerk to look it up, the first one may have looked it up wrong.
