I have a 79 Bronco Ranger XLT and it has quad shocks in front. Well there is a brace or a bar that is bolted with a rubber bushing to the front driverside shock mount. Its mounted to the bottom of the top shock mount just under the framerail and spans to just inside the the passengerside spring mount. It is bolted to the axle tube there. I need a new bushing for the driverside but know seems to know what it is or what it is for. I have no rubber at all in there now and its banging around. Any Suggestions?
Sounds like your talking about a sway bar. Are you sure you have quad shocks? That would mean you have four shocks on each front tire, if not then you have dual shocks.
