ecm location

were is the ecm located in a 86 f150

Right side (pass side) near kick panel. sometimes the heater is behind it - plastic cover blocking view.

comomn places ford puts it, behind kick pannel on drivers side ,under dash just to the right or left of the dash cluster or under the seat on the drivers side just follow the large wiring harness off the engine.
