Hi,
I've joined to see if I can get some information about my '99 Ford Explorer. I noticed the other day that the tmperature guage is reading very cool or no advance of the needle even though the out side temp is 70 plus degrees when the engine is running. It may be the sender, but I don't know which sender looking device on the engine is the sender. Sometimes it reads "normal", but usually the needle does not show any movement when the engine is running. Any suggestions?

Hello Dan and Welcome to Ford Truck Enthusiasts!

There is a lot of help in our tech forums. Click on the Forums tab at the upper left and look over the choices. I suggest trying this one: https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum32/

Post your question there and I'm sure you will get an answer.

Be sure and stop by the Florida chapter, lots of local information there.https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/forum116/

Good luck!
