Help 6.9 overhaul???
I have a 1987 6.9 diesel I want to freshenup but I can't find a good shop manual or a source of good information about it. I ordered a Hayes manual ,not enough to take to the outhouse in it about the 6.9 or a7.3 Ford diesel . Somewhere out there there is a shop manual availible for these engine????????

got a manual on cd off of ebay. thought i still had the name/address of place it came from, but wife cleaned my corner up and disposed of wrappings. thankfully the cd is still here. LOL! i just went on ebay and did a search for service manual for my '90 7.3 and found it. be warned though, if you are reeeeaaaaly specific about what you want, it will tell you your search is too specific, but you can broaden it a little and find all kind of stuff. the one i got is absolutely great---almost too much data. the price was right as well at 99 cents. the shipping was more than the disc. hope this helps.
