gauge lights, need help.

so ive had my truck for about 6 months(1991 f-250 7.3l) and the backgroud lights for my gauge's were never hooked up properly. There pyrometer and boost gauges, mounted on the a-pilar. I want to wire it up so they will turn on with my other instrament lights. the groud is hooked up but the positive was just stuck in a un-used slot on the fuse block, with no power. so now my question, where do i have to wire up the positive so that they will come on and off with the instrament lights?

thanks.

If you can remove the headlight switch. With a 12 volt test light, turn the switch on and off checking for power when you turn you're lights on. Tap into that wire and it will feed power to you're lights when you turn them on.

You can get under the dash and find any blue/red wire going to any of your dash lights and splice into that.
