You can grab fuel pressure from the rear of the fuel filter bowl. On the back-side (the side facing the firewall) you'll find a plug with an allen head (if I remember correctly) that you can take out and put a fitting into. I believe, if I remember correctly, that it is an 1/8 NPT. That is where I tied in for an underhood fuel pressure gauge
The back of the fuel bowl, take out the allen plug. That is where you can tap in, but you will need an adapter if it is a electronic sender fuel pressure gauge. Any local hydraulic store will have it.
Yes, I took that plug out and saw that the thread size did not match up to the threads on the sender. Do you have any idea what size/pitch thread that is?
I honestly have no clue, i went to the hardware stores and rigged something up with brass fitting put it all together and it leaked, so i tighten it up and it broke the fittings. I found out it wasnt exactly the right size , so then i just went to the hydro store and showed them the plug and the sensor and they had one with a new o-ring on it.
