Vortech or paxton

On my 85 efi 302, I would like to place a centrifical supercharger, but summit, jegs, etc, only offer them for 87+ Broncos.

I wondering if one can be retrofitted onto my 85? Thanks.

Not sure if the kits will work on your '85. Why do you want a centrifugal supercharger? Twin-screw types are more efficient and not much more expensive. Whipple and Kenne Bell make great kits.

If I can get a whipple for it I would, but I haven't checked on availability lately.

I think an Whipple would be assume, if you can afford it. Paxton says they will work with anyone to fit one of their chargers to anything that has wheels. From my understanding they keep an data base of all installs that they can pull information from to make a kit for you. I would suggest calling their tech line and talking to them directly.
