Old route ONE
They say there are parts of it that just trail off into the countryside, two ruts no longer used anymore. Some of it is on private land, and in the middle of the woods you can find ruts from it with the remains of an old gas station with glass pump tanks quietly rotting away...
Memories of what once was are out there in odd places. Where model T's and A's once drove are forgotten and out of the loop. But the buildings are still there way off of the beaten track.
I always wanted to go explore old route 1.
