Always get premium grade belts for the alternator, AC and power steering belts. They are all so long they like to slap, the premiums seem to slap a lot less.
Well, I don't know if it is a premium belt or not, it is what the little hole in the wall Napa store near my office had in stock.
At $20 for a v-belt it sure seemed like it was premium PRICED - but I was tickled to get it and get off that cheap. A booster with MC was $150 and a reman vac pump was about the same...
The belt that came off at least looked pretty old. It was all dried and cracked and looked pretty bad.
