Angry Stupid brake questions

My 99 f150 XL was a saw a lot of road salt before i bought it. My brake lines have completely rusted to the point that i can break them with allmost no force. The bolts where so rusted i had to take them off with vice grips and if they had any distingushing marks they are gone now. My haynes manual says nothing about whether they were metric or standerd thread and the people at auto zone don't know that there is a differance and have sold me lines twice that didn't take to the tread.
Is there a website that would have my fasteners listed and if not where would i find that info without making 10 more trips to the zone?

When i do finally find the right fit does my new line have to be the same length and shape?

My rear brake line leave my master cylinder and does 3 coils before running a straight shot along the frame to the rear hose. Do i have to match this or could i just run it straight back without the coils?

Most of my knowledge is "old ford", but let me answer your last question.

The coils are there to allow some movement without stressing the line. (The cab is on rubber mounts on the frame, plus the frame itself flexes.) You do not need exactly the original coil configuration, but some extra length is necessary - avoid a straight run that results in the line being stretched tight. Most lines that go through any curve will be OK. Lines that are pre-made will usually have extra length - use it to avoid having too tight a run.

I would also avoid buying any brake parts at Autozone. Their staff doesn't know what they're talking about and their products are substandard.
