Just wanted to take the time to thank all of you on this forum. I've been somewhat of a background surfer... not really posting, just reading everything and taking it all in, and the advice I've come across has been extremely helpful in a 302 rebuild I've been doing.
I've never rebuilt a ford engine, only driven them, and now I'm going from an F150 with an I6 300 that has treated me very well , to another F150 that now has a rebuilt 302 in it. To tell the truth, I'm somewhat sceptical of 302's, but with the advice I've recieved here I'm sure this one will take me a long way. Thank you.
Glad you got some good info here that you can can put to use. By now you've probably figured out that most of us here are pretty big fans of these engines. Some tend to lean more towards the 351W while many of use are affirmed 289/302 enthusists, but whatever your flavor it boils down to being a great little powerhouse. No need for any more skepticism...!
And please feel free to jump right in with any specific questions you may have when it comes time to put wrench to bolt...we'll be here!
