The bolts are into aluminum, so be careful there, torque them if you can..I installed the elbow then pulled the pipe over and tightened one side at a time, Clean the hose up good before you install it, so it doesn't blow. Some people are loosening the pipe at the CAC and revolving it. I also chopped some of my hood insulation for clearance and raised the hood a little. its tight in there.

I noticed as well that after few days I got a nice heat burn where the tube sits on the insulation.

Strom, there are two black snubbers behind the headlights. These raise the hood to a little extent. I adjusted mine as it helps the lines on the hood as well. I saw what you are talking about, that part of the hood will clear the moisture from the hood before the rest.
