Avaitor problems...

Avaitor problems...
Something is up with our 05 Avaitor and I just want to see if anyone else is haveing simular issues.
First off we have had it about 18 months and it has gone from Ohio to Flordia 4-5 times with no trouble at all. It is a beautiful truck to travel with.
Problems: It has gone through three batterys. All replaced by warentee in 18,000 miles. I think there is a short in the truck but the dealers (1 in ohio, one in Naples, FL by our winter home) do not think so and have not looked.
Now on sunday it would not start, had to be towed to the dealer (In fla), when the tow took it, we discovered that it pissed out alot of tranny fluid while it was parked, and the battery was dead again. Dealer replaced a line to the tranny cooler (so they say) and the battery.
Now I love this truck, but I am starting to think it is a lemon. Has anyone else had these issues and what do you think I should do?
Im thinking if this is not resulved I might have to trade it for a Audi Q7 soon.

Yeah but I don't know if a dead battery counts as a lemon??? We do drive it from our Flordia house to our Cleveland house a few times a year. It is cold here and hot there and I know thats not great on batterys. Plus, when I drive, I drive. I will go 20 hours straight only stopping for gas and bathroom so I know that I might not be great on the batterys.
As for the tranny, apparently a line came apart or something, thats why it leaked. They fixed it under warentee and it has been ok these last few days. After talking to a friend who is a service rep at a Lincoln dealer in Ohio, I think I am going to give it another shot. Like I said before though, if this keeps up when the warentee is done, Im getting a Audi.

I'm not a lawyer, but if the battery won't stay charged, it could be a number of things causing it, and the bottom line is you've given them enough opportunities to fix it properly. The longer you wait, the fewer options will be available to you.
