Strange pins
I was taking my wheels off and I found some pins stuck in the muck on the backside of my rotor. They look to be just under a half inch in length and they're round. I found five of them stuck right next to the lower ball joint. I'm thinking they might be pins out of a busted bearing. I haven't put the four wheel drive mechs on the schedule yet... does anyone have any ideas on what they might be before I take my hub apart?

sounds like the spindle bearing rollers to me. Your going to have to tear it down and pull the spindle off and replace it. common issue and amazing how many people don't even repack them when they repack the wheelbearings (mainly because you do have to remove the spindle) I don't know about other parts stores but napa sells a kit that includes that bearing, the seal and the dust seal for the axle.
