Red face 5th wheel towing question

Ok, this might seem like a stupid question, but I tow a TT now, but soon will be moving up to a 5th wheel. I'm all set with the hitch, but my question is where does the 5th wheel plug in? It's not at the 7pin next to the hitch is it?

Thanks all!
Peter

Yes it is.

You can get a T from etrailer.com and put another 7way in the bed by the wheel hump.

Or if the cord isn't long enough to reach the bumper 7way you can make up a extension pretty cheep too.

You can plug it in there but you may need a longer cord coming from the 5th wheel. I plug mine in on the plug below the bumper. I feed my cord under the tailgate and bring it out above the bumper.

You could also move the plug from under the bumper and mount it on one side of the box. I did this with my previous truck. In between the wheel well and the back of the box.

Did the "T" in the box for mine. IMHO, it's the way to go!!

I moved mine from the rear and drilled ONE hole next to the hook on the rear driver's side of bed. Used one of the bolts that hold the hook for the other side. Works for me....plenty of slack for full turns either way....AND it was FREE! Ahhh..it cost me one nut and bolt!
