Map Lights

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Aug-02 AT 00:37 AM (EST)]My Son needs for you to help me get the map lights working in my 88 XLT. The dome light works fine and sometimes the map lights will come on for a little while. I have a connection that is noot good. There is no voltage at the map light wire in the headliner. The diagram doesn't show where the wires are routed from the light to the power source. Do they run on the drivers side to the front of the door or somewhere else.

Really need to get these working so he can play the Game Boy while we are on the road and save on the nerves !!!!!

Thanks for the help maby I can get out of taking the headliner out to find the wires.

Map Lights

[updated:LAST EDITED ON 15-Aug-02 AT 09:21 AM (EST)] Found the problem! it was at a connector in the door post under the seat belt on the drivers side. Wire was corroded off of the connector. the wires do come down the drivers side behind the door and into a channel under the drivers kick plate. so if yours dont work maby this is your problem to.

Save the nerves and long live Pokemon.
