New guy from Carolina'!
Hi guys... I just found this site a few days ago and I must say it is very well organized and full of usefull information!
I recently purchased an 82' F250 4x4 from a friend of mine. It has 115,000 original miles. He was the original owner, it was only used on his farm to haul peanut trailers and the like. The truck is close to stock except for the 4 bbl edelbrock carb and performer intake. It is a 351 with a 4 spd. manual tranny and leaf spring front suspension, which I have been told is a rare option on an 82' F250, I dunno. It has a 5th wheel hitch ball in the bed and farm style drop bumper with sliding hitch.
This is the first Ford I've ever owned and am hoping to use this site to find out a little more about it and "modify" it to suit my needs.
Any tips/ info on this model would be greatly appreciated. Sorry for the crappy pic!

I'm sure you will be able to find a lot of information here about your truck. Use the search feature and check out the tech forums for help. Don't forget we have state chapters so stop by yours (they are towards the bottom of the Forum listing.
