5" exhaust

I installed mko's 5" over the weekend trouble free in about an hour and a half by myself. All I can say is WOW. I love the sound the kit fit perfectly. My only problem is my fuel mileage from listening to the new sound. I went with the straight pipe and also purchased his 6" tip.

Nice to have it sounding like a "truck" isn't it. Fuel mileage will tend to suffer until the brains retakes control of the right foot. Mine still hasn't completely.

Two years later I am still rolling down my windows in the wintertime to grin at the sound.
And definatly not caring if I get good mileage.

Shouldn't you get better fuel mileage once your right foot lets off the floor alittle? I'm still thinking witch one to get, 4" or 5". I am leaning on the 5" since I hear nothing but good news from them. Cann't wait to hear the sound myself.....

well thank you proud to be a member!! yea you are "suppose" to get better fuel mileage but I don't see that happening anytime in the near future nor do i care lol. I would go with the 5" all the 4"ers i hear don't sound nearly as good.

Glad someone else feels that way. I am biased, I know, but I just don't think a 4" will sound as good. Today I blasted a turd who was cranking some crappy rap on the passenger side. Felt really good. Hope they smelled the CCV gasses too.

Of course the windows were down. That's the most fun. They did stay well behind after that, no loss.
