Talking exporer / ranger idea???

ok i have a rolled 96 ford explorer xlt 4.0L 2wd with a good frame and drivetrain....... and i have a 93 single cab ranger body..... can i mate these 2..... let me know if this will work and how much work it will be....

you can do anything with time and money.

if it was 4wd i could see doing this but not for 2wd imho.

well i have the body and a frame i might as well make something i can drive....am i right

I think you could get the body on that frame, but I'm not positive. Explorers have stronger axles, so it'd make a good mudding truck if you converted it to 4x4.

im going to do this anyway.... hahaha even if i have to use some 2X4's hahaha..... this truck will drive one day.....

Possible...

Here are some stats that might help:

1993 Ranger

Length 193 in
Wheelbase 114 in
Width 69 in

1994 Explorer 4-door

Length 184 in
Wheelbase 112 in
Width 70 in

1994 Explorer 2-door

Length 174 in
Wheelbase 102 in
Width 70 in

Kinda looks like if your Explorer is a 4-door the wheelbases are different of 2 inches...but if Explorer is 2-door then the foot difference would be tough.
