I have 50k on my 03 cclb. Had the rear calipers and one rotor replaced a few weeks ago. The left rear caliper apparently had been dragging for a while and by the time I knew this, pad worn out and the rotor to far gone to turn. The other side was OK, so they turned that rotor and put on two rebuilt calipers with new pads.
My question is, the fronts have about 20-30 percent left. These I will change myself but what pad materials seems to work best. Do tow a 30 ' fifth wheel, so like to have good brakes!!
Humm I just called napa to get a price on the NAPA Ceramix and the guy said that they do not have them for the f250 and that I should get motorcraft pads???

Got to NAPA online and do a "parts" search......Put in your vehicle specs and they'll narrow down the several types (including Ceramix) that they have......THEN, they'll get your zip code and tell you which stores are carrying them.......
About $75.00 for one axle (4 pads total)....Includes the new shims.......
I have an F250 with 77,000. I have had the cheap stuff, the quiet pads, I now have the NAPA Cermic pads. Love them, no dust on the rims. I do notice they seem to feel soft when cold. Just a feeling, truck still stops.
