Exhaust Mod
Another newbie question in regards to exhaust mods.
VEHICLE:
2005 Ford F-350 6.0l 4x4
Just installed trans temp gauge
Pre-turbo EGT gauge
Turbo Temp module
Towing a 34 foot travel trailer
My questions are, If I open the door and let the cat runaway and remove the muffler for straight pipes are there any other required mods (ie chipping, toneing, PCM I think that was the letters not sure what it stands for, etc.) that have to be done. At the present time I'm more concerned about lowering egt's and will not mind the added noise.

there are no other mods required...although you may want to look into a elbow from intakelbows.com...i have not installed one yet but i have heard nothing but good things about them. I have a mbrp 4" tb and it is awesome....
