How do you tell if your motor is a 351W or a 351W HO? And what is the details and specs between the two? Just curious about this.

5.8Litre 4V HO or something like that

Also the rating on the 351 HO is 210HP 305Ft lbs

 

I've seen this engine referred to as both the "351 H.O.", and the "5.8L-4V H.O." . The major difference between it,and the other 351W truck engine, was Ford added a Holley four barrel carb, and factory dual exhaust.They might have put a slightly warmer camshaft in it,too. I saw the specs before, and recall they were different than the 351-2V truck engine's cam.

 

Not all of them came with dual, as I have a 351 H.O. and I only have single exhaust

 

Ditto, I have an 86 EB Bronco. no duals.. but it Rips! even after 160,000 original miles.
