blinking o/d light
hello all-
my od light started blinking yesterday and went to go get code read. put it reverse and pushed on the gas pedal and the engine evs like it was still in neautral. turned the engine off and started it again went into reverse fine backed out the driveway put into drive went about 1/8th mile stopped at stop sign went to go and nothing like it was in neautral again. turned engine off restarted put it in drive and came back home. any ideas would be very helpful.

Check the fluid for burnt odors and be sure it's up to the correct level. If it's nice and red and at the right level.....it's toast.
The blinking OD light is another indication that the tranny is going out. Pull #9 fuse under the hood or remove both battery cables for 15 minutes or so. This resets the PCM, It may buy you a little time so you might be able to get it to a tranny shop to have the codes read.
