Leaking auto hub

My 95 Bronco 5.0 with auto hubs appears to be leaking from the front right hub. The hub is greasy and there's little splatters all over the rim. I haven't gotten a chance to take the wheel off and inspect it (I'm not allowed to work on my vehicle at all in the apartment complex parking lot). Can these hubs leak, and if so, what would it be leaking since it isn't directed connected to the differential via an axle tube? Is it more likely to be brake fluid? thanks.

Could be brake fluid OR wheel bearing grease. If it's wb grease I'd guess someone over-packed the hubs or that grease is old/contaminated.
