The passenger side had a small hairline crack in it about 2" long. I checked it and all you need to do is grove it and use some epoxy in it. I even have the right kind for it. Had to do another one on my son's truck, but much worse. Other than that, they are in very nice shape. I put a picture of the crack in there also. Wish I would have had them before I started on my sons. Trust me, there in good shape. I spent a week working my sons out.
Both of my fenders are cracked in two places, I assume the previous owner(s) had a blow out or two which would normally cause this. On the styleside, blow outs usually fold the bottom of the rear quarter under. I see that type of damage often.
What is the "Right" kind of epoxy????
I was going to repair my fenders, but as you say, it is a long slow process.
Oh....as far as the bed goes, my stringers look perfect as do the blocks. The only damage is the original plywood. I already have the red oak and stainless to replace that mess. Thanks for the offer anyway!
I sent you an email.

I looked for the epoxy but could not find it. I got it from Carquest. It comes in a chaulking tube and is a 2 part in equal amounts. Drys ing 10 to 30 minutes and is sandable. Cost was like $12.00 for the package. Works on any plastic or fiberglass. Worked great, strong as anything, and no bondo. Hope this help you!
