how do i clean the screen

how do i clean the screen in the fpr do anyone have any pics of this job a link maybe thanks

Search on google for "Baz's Page" or Steve Baz. He has every writeup you'll ever need on these trucks. He doesn't have pics of the FPR screen cleaning, but a good writeup. It's not real hard, just pull the two 10mm bolts holding the regulator to the bowl and gently pry it away. watch out for the orings. You will see the screen and just clean it with a Qtip stick with no cotton on it. People say you can clean it from inside the fuel bowl, but I never remember to look when I change the filter. I just clean it from inside the fuel bowl, you coud do it without pulling out the regulator of the bowl, just take out the cover of the bowl (fuel canister) and there are an orifice in the passengers side upper part and use also a Qtip sitck, and check it with a mirror, but as RubberDuck said, dont forget when you change your fuel filter. (is realy easy)

I did mine when I shimmed the fpr I had apart so I cleaned while it was on the bench. I have never done this while the fpr was still on the truck....wish I could tell you how to do it while it is still on the truck sorry!!

I will tell you Friday night how it goes from the inside of the bowl. I'm doing a full service on my truck before I dyno Sat. I'll keep yall posted.
