I went to fix my emergency brake and found out that there was a part missing , the arm that the cable hooks on to in the ***. for the emergency brake is not there any ideas where i can get one 1964 f100
Number Dummy (Bill) isn't there a variety of years that use the same brake components that one could pull off a salavage yard truck. I believe up too if not farther than 1974 models? Don't quote me on that. My old 66 daily driver was missing those same arms; its rough not having a E-brake with a three on the tree style truck.
Hope this sparks some thought for others to chime in. Because with out a E-brake I think your more than Fish Bait. LOL
Sounds like it's time to upgrade to the wider brakes. You'll need backing plates and axles off of a 68-72 truck. Brakes are wider and parts are available.

1961/67 F100 2WD Front brakes are 11 X 2" .. 1968/72's are 11 X 3"
1961/67 F100 2WD Rear Brakes are 11 x 1 3/4" .. 1968/72 are 2 1/4"
The front wheel cylinders are larger on 68/72 (1 1/8") .. (61/67=1 1/16"), the rears are the same (7/8"). The parking brake levers are different from 1968/72 and are the same as 1965/72 big Ford/Mercs. Best way to go...donor truck in a boneyard. Then buy new springs and w/c rebuild kits. You can also replace the old self adjusters with new parts, or buy a kit that replaces the self adjusters with replacement components if you remove them.
Size does matter!

If, after all the above comments, you do not want to upgrade and decide to stick with your original brakes, let me know - I might have an actuating arm in my junk-pile. Do you also need the pin, spring-washer, and the clip? Do you need right or left or both?
thanks for all of your help I don't feel so alone on this subject , I have an old junk truck but I dont know if the part is there It's a good drive from where I am at so i will try that, but If I do not have one ther I will keep you in mind Acheda if you have one I will need the driver side and the pins and springs. Thank you All
