Smile lucky day

well today was my lucky day, about a month ago i bought 8 new motorcraft plugs for my truck and after 3 days all of them burnt out. i called the place to see if i could get a new set or something and he told me that there was nothing they could do but eat $82.00s. a few days after that i went back to talk to the women that sold them to me because i didnt believe what he had said over the phone. the women remembered selling me 8 plugs and even remembered how much they were. she told me to bring the pluds and the reciept and she would make everything better with a new set of plugs. well iwent home to get plugs and reciept and guess what i cant find the reciept, looked all over the world for it but no luck. so i left it alone and faced it that i would have to just eat $82.00s, and would have to just buy a new set but this time i was going to buy the 12volt ones and swap over to the new controller. so a couple of weeks went by and i developed a head gasket leak, so i tore into it and started getting ready for the topend repair. i went back to the same place to order my gasket set and everything that i needed to do the repair on the truck, well when i walked through the front door she noticed me and flagged me over there and asked why i didnt come back for the new plugs, so i told her that i lost the reciept and i was just going to leave it a long and just eat the plugs. well that wasnt good enough for her she demanded me to go home and remove the plugs and bring them back and she didnt need a reciept, but was going to make everything wright . so i wasnt going to argue with her on this one lol. so lucky me the plugs were already out of the engine. i brought them back, she exchanged them for me and gave me the new set of plugs for the new controller setup and didnt even charge me for the difference in the plugs. man its good to see that there is still some good people in this world after all. so i got 8 new plugs, new gasket set, new head bolt set, and everything i needed for the repair, (that is my lucky day) but now i have to go home and explain to my wife that i just spent $300.00 on parts. oh well i guess every thing doesnt last forever. lol lol

And look at what her making it right with you did for her sales.

Treat people right and they will come back, they will also recommend you to other people.

Wonder where you will go for parts the next time?

I second that on the customer service. A knowledgable parts man is also getting difficult to find too. How many times have you had the part in your hand, and the parts man everything but calls you a liar because of what the computer says? I feel lucky because I found an intelligent person to buy my parts from, and he will meet everyone elss prices to keep my business. He also drives a diesel-which helps a lot!

i agree with you one hundred percent, and have found just the parts man you are talking about. Ed Olsen from Y2K ford parts, and he is a F.T.E. sponsor also.
he has beat every price i have called about so far, whether it is from the local ford dealer , or the local parts houses. the only pain is he is across the country, but even with shipping, he beats everyone else's prices.
