My # 3 injector decided to start pouring fuel into the cylinder in Wyoming during my PCS from Idaho to Mississippi, I have 56K miles on the truck, does anyone know if the injectors are covered under the 100K warranty or if I'm going to have to pay for this out of pocket. Thanks
Code P0269-#3 contribution, fuel smell in the oil and excessive grayish fuel smelling smoke at all RPMs, no loss of coolant. I use the gray bottle Stanadyne additive and Rotella synthetic oil-normally change the oil every 5K but was lazy and this change has 6K on it, still should have been an issue though
dont know if id drive it that far with a stuck injector...diesel will break down the oil and could wash out your rings..........
Its the hydro lock I’m worried about, I'm going to try to get it fixed here in the middle of Wyoming then make it to Mississippi in a 24 hour day-kind of annoying my baby did this to me now
I think you need to pay for it. Why, after all your mods (including a tuner) do you think Ford should have to foot the bill?
Ofcourse that just my opinion
that all depends on what caused it to stick...the 6.0 inj have enough problem on there own and i wouldnt be fast to point my fingers at the tuner...although ford will...you can count on that....
