I just bought a JVC KD-S5050 it's about 2 years old I would guess. I thought I would be able to install this pretty easily but the number of wires in my dash double the amount of wires on the new head unit. And if that wasn't enough the colors aren't matching up. The truck I have is a 1995 F150 Eddie Bauer and it didn't have the stock cd player but the stock tape player in it. I was just wondering what wires I would need and which ones I don't or does anyone know of a website that would be able to show me this?

This is really a simple job, but I highly recommend going to best buy, curcuit city or a local stereo shop and getting the harnesses to make the head unit plug in rather than doing all of that splicing in the dash.
Well, with the harness you just wire it up at your dining room table and plug it in. It makes the install much nicer. I think the metra number you need is 70-1770.
Yeah, I went to wal-mart and i'm pretty sure I picked out the wrong one because it didn't fit my Ford truck, but I did see a good selection, I also looked at the one and best buy and it looked ford factory but was $15 dollars more than the one at Walmart. What should I go with? Keep in mind, I'm not trying to blow people away with my stereo just want a CD player.
You are looking for either the Metra 70-1770 or Scosche FD02 or FD02B. Metra and Scosche are the two most popular brands of install kits (the scosche one sometimes has a B behind it, I'm not sure why). Pretty much any place that sells car stereo stuff should have it, if not search online and pick one up. It will definitely be worth it.
