Well yesterday i decided to pull the rear driveshaft to rule that out of the question. The shake was still there and very aparent. Today i went and jacked the front end up and checked the all the steering compents, made sure the hub locks werent sticking, and while the rear driveshaft was out, i checked to make sure the rear was good. Everything felt good, put everything back together hoping eh maybe something change but it didnt. It still has a violent shake/vibration when the TC is locked up and i give it a little fuel it get worse, 1/2 on the fuel it starts to go away, i coast and its gone compleltly. It only does it when the TC is locked up and the truck is kinda lugging from 45~65ish, then it goes away. When i put the truck in N the vibration goes away as well. I turned the overdrive off and i guess that makes ur Torque convertor lock up later, and it wont vibrate until 55 when it locked up. Im out of ideas, and i did not want to hijack anymore threads so i wanted to make a post on everything i have tried now.
What i have tried before this weekend includes, get the tires balanced and rotated no change, replaced carrier bearing, no change, took the rear dif cover off and checked backlash between ring and pinion all in check. Injector buzz test, all sounded good. So i think i have checked everything i could have possibly checked. The only two varibles that i have a hard time checking are trans(gonna take it to the guy who replaced it if i cant figure this out asap) and the motor. The motor seems to be running just like it always has. Any suggestions?
