Does Anyone Know What Is A Good Ratio For The Fuel Additives? For Example Diesel Kleen, I Hear People Talk About That One All The Time. What Are Some Of The Other Brands. Whats Best. ....how Much For A 35 Gallon Tank.
For Diesel Kleen just multiply your gallons after fillup by .64. So if you filled up with 25gal. 25 x .64 =16 oz. Use a measuring cup but don't use plastic.
I have been using a 16 oz. Ozarka water bottle for about 4 months now, it has yet to eat the bottle up. So I have no idea if a plastic measuring cup is made of a different plastic than a water bottle.
I started using a plastic measuring cup from one of those "Dollar" stores and it started to degrade the plastic after repeated use. Just my experience guys with the plastic one i used didn't mean to ruffle your feathers.
The first time i added power service additive to my tank, i used a red sojo plastic cup and it ate it up bad. I took the wife's measuring cup and she still is wondering where it went.

No feathers ruffled here Bob. I just think there has to be something different in the plastics for a 16 oz. water bottle to hold up as well as it has for me.
I got a couple bottles from the parts dep the last time I was in for an oval. I believe the mix was 4oz/ tank. Dont remember exactly the name . . .? I assume it meets the standards if they sell it.
The additive itself comes in a plastic bottle.....I add Power Service and the 100 oz. bottle is to treat 300 gallons so I usually add 1/3 oz./gallon. Usually I add about 27-30 gallon per fill up so I add 9-10 oz. I will add about 15oz if it is supposed to be colder and will add 20 oz if it drops below 10 for a time.

I've been using a plastic 8 oz baby bottle or the last 3 years & it works perfect. That baby formula must be pretty tough stuff!!
Look on the back of a bottle of Diesel Kleen for a Cetane boost of 6 numbers a big bottle of 96oz. will treat 150 gal. Divide 96 by 150 = .64 so that is .64oz per gallon.
