Wheel Lock

I parked my 98 F150 today just as i usually do. When i got back in it about an hour later, i tried to turn the key and start the truck as usual but the key wouldnt turn. I tried for a few minutes turning and pulling on the steering wheel while trying to turn the key, but it wouldnt go. The truck wont go into gear, the wheel wont turn, and the key won't turn at all. Any one have any suggestions???

Sometimes i have trouble with this but turning the key backwards to the accessories while turning the wheel will free it up, then you can turn it forward once the steering wheel is unlocked.

Welcome to the forum onestep

It sounds like your ignition lock cylinder has probably started to fall apart inside and will need to be replaced.
Sometimes when that happens you can gently tap on the end of the key with a small hammer while trying to turn it. If that works you should head for somewhere that can replace the lock cylinder. The ignition needs to be in the run position to remove the cylinder so don't turn it all the way off until you're ready to replace it.
Have you tried using a spare key to see if that works?
If tapping on the key doesn't work you may have to drill out the lock cylinder.
