Steering box adjustment screw..what does it do?

Hey. I have a '73 f100 2wd with PS. I'm wondering what the adjustment screw on the box is for. The steering works great except for a slight pull to the right. Very slight. Does this screw adjust this kind of thing? Thanks for any and all advice.

Out on the road today, I saw a "Dead Head" sticker on a Cadillac. A voice inside said "Don't look back. You can never look back". ....Thomas Edison

That screw is to adjust slack in the steering gear box.
If you have a pull it won't help you any.
