Whats the difference with a dana 44 and a dana 44HD? I know they are both TTB and the HD was used in the leaf sprung F250, but can the internals be swap and is the HD shafts any stronger?

I installed the front Diff out of an 88 F-250 in my Bronco. So I know that that part is the same. I think the axle shafts are different. Just be careful the Dana 44HD is ony used in the light duty F-250's it's a Dana 50 in the heavy duty trucks.
