6.9 Big Electrical Problem, Help

1987 6.9L
I have always had electrically trouble with this truck but here is my problem now. I just got the truck back from the shop two weeks ago because it wouldnt start, I was told the batteries were shot and they put in new ones; Interstate. The truck has been plugged it because of the cold, so I go and start it put and nothing. No dome light, no lights, no dings, no wait to start light, nothing. Now these batteries have been in the truck oh since Feb 2nd. I check them on the Amp meter and they both read around 12-12.5. I put them on the charger and they are both showing that they are charged, as soon as I take them off the charger I have a dome light and headlights but when I go to start it, off go the lights and all the juice, no wait to start light. This truck has a new starter, new starter sol, new ignition lock, and those two new batteries.

Someone please let this poor boy out!!!!!!!

Yeah, bad ground is sounding like a good candidate to me.

Have you checked the wiring on the pax/engine inner fender, there are some (2) large connectors that love to burn up........and yours may have one with yellow wires. Most members just solder them solid........
