I have been dealing with a clunking noise coming from the front end now for sometime. So I did all the searches on the forum and got tons of good info on where to start and look. I did it all, sway bar bushing (slightly worn), Ball joints as they needed it, checked the blend door and order new Bilstein shocks (Worn out). But I still had the noise and it was just getting worse. I grab a buddy of mine and took him for a drive and we both felt it was coming from the front end. The the other day we had high winds and with the truck just sitting there it was making that clunking noise and as I looked up, I notice the my windor vent visor was bouncing all over the place. The middle mounts had come away from the roof, sending the noise down thru the pillars, leading us to believe it was the front end and need to be reglued. Well that fixed the problem. The next day my buddy comes in and say he figured out the problem as his truck was doing the same thing. Before he could finish I told him what I find out. I just wanted to pass this along as I know our trucks have issues with the front end. Just one more thing to check.
