I have a 95 Ranger 4x4 with a weird problem, on the passengers side axel, it keeps pulling through the rotor. the truck was converted from auto to manual hubs (dont know if it matters) before i bought the truck, there is a groove for a C clip just behind the spline teeth on the axle, i cant find the right size one (going to TSC tommorow) i bewlive it is a 1", i used a reguler snap ring that i cut the ears off and turned it into a C clip, but it keeps breaking and the axel fass back through the rotor about an inch, just enought so 4WD dosent do a damn thing. now, is there anything else that should go on besides the clip? is that what keeps the whole axel from pulling through up front?
