Dodge Wheels?

I just read something that made me think the 5 lug wheels on these trucks were the same bolt pattern as the 94-01+ Dodge Rams. Does anyone know if thats true or not? And were 16"wheels ever made available from the factory for the 80-96 trucks?

They may fit but back spacing on newer dodges set tire in to far. At least the set I tried.
And as for stock 16 " no . Why pay more for bigger rim/tire I like more rubber less rim for the line of work I do. Those 20"rims look nice but bump a curb once and you'll wish you had a little more protection .

I sold a set of wheels off the 93 Ford I had to a friend with a Dodge. I forget what year the Dodge was but they fit right on it.

dodge has had the 5x5.5 bolt pattern for a long time, i think on the older ones though 2wd had the small pattern and 4wd had the big ones, i know my dad's 95 2wd has the 5x5.5, but not sure about his 02 model. i don't believe ford ever offered a 16'' wheel with this pattern but not 100%. dodge did though. the advantage of the 16 or 16.5 is the ability to run a larger brake diameter, and i've thought about going to them for that reason, but i agree with lostin90's, those 18 and 20's may look good to some, but ride rough and first pothole or curb is going to dent them or knock them, then you have a $500 boat anchor.

by the way, old cj model jeeps had the 5x5.5 pattern and so did international scouts, travelalls, and pickups.
