fuel return line

I would like to know if a 1989 f150 has a fuel return line or would i have to install one.

fuel injected or carburated?? why would you have to install one? what are you doing in that you are curious? a little more info would be great

it is EFI, but a am putting in a carburated motor in it that has 450 hp. and am using the intank fuel pump, but i have to turn down the fuel pressure so i need a return line.

Since it is currently EFI it does have a return line.

however....I do not believe that carburated models had a fuel return line, so you might be able to just plug it off.

i need the return line cause of the pressure in-tank fuel pumps make about 45-55 psi and carb. only needs 7-9 psi so the rest of the fuel needs to go back to the tank.

Are you sure about that in-tank pump pressure??? On these trucks, it only supposed to have about 45 psi at the fuel rail....and thats AFTER the high pressure pump....just something to look at.
