300 six year I.D.
I have a 1979 f-250 4x4 with a 300 six. Could someone please tell me the block and head casting codes to determine what year motor it is, just in case it's not the original 300? I believe the 79's have non-adjustable valve's, just torque to specs, the lash is preset with the push rod lenght. The older motor's valve's are adjustable.
