Sorry I haven't contributed enough but my spelling sucks and I don't know much about computers. But I will try to do better. My 95 F-150 6cyl has over 185000 on it and the transmission is leaking fluid when I drive any distance. I'm thinking of having it rebuilt but don't know where to take it and could use some advice on where to take it and what to look for in quality and price. The engine is next on my list but will have to come up with more money first. I live in Lugoff S.C. and hope some of the S.C. Chapter could lead me in the right direction.. Thanks
Looked it up thanks didn't know for sure any knowledge of shift kit or what ever they are called to help it shift better I will be driving back and forth to Fla for work reasons and will be really dependent on this truck holding up. How about price for rebuild ballpark I've heard around 1600-2300 seams to be a wide spread not that I mind paying the price I just hate toget stiffed and I have no idea what it cost. My old C 6 only cost 500 on my 78 F-250, but that was then. Thanks again
