Okay, I said I'd tell ya my blackstone when it showed. Good or bad.
Hmm. This crow tastes funny. Anyway
Iron 25 Copper 17 Lead 23 - slightly higher than average
Silicon, the one you were looking for, 23.
Their 2 cents - higher metals may indicate bearing wear. Silicon is the filter.

I've never developed a taste for crow myself. Still, it's good to get the info before you're trying to figure out why you have equipment damage. How many miles on the oil, and which oil and oil filter are you using?

This is after 8,000 miles using Conklin Convoy 15W40 synthetic.

I guess I am curious what others are seeing on the silicon and with what filter. If I were to swap, the 6637 would be the easiest of the options.

At 8000 on schaffers 9000 with A K&N filter(sealed and cleaned and oiled), I got a 6PPM silicon.

On the 6L I got single digits with a AFE. with 8000 miles on oil.

I live on a dirt road though.

Single digits is great...Twenties not so..
