Motorcraft Calipers?

2001 F-150 XLT V-8 5.4L (VIN L) SCAB 4X4 w/ GVWR 6500

I have searched and searched archive forums for this answer with no luck. I need to replace both front calipers. Motorcraft parts list has two types that fit my truck they are: BRCL145RM, BRCL146RM and BRCL52RM, BRCL53RM. One set is described w/48mm pistons and the other has no other info of piston size. Can anyone help?

Question

Well pottman, It appears that both of them are 48mm pistons but one of the sets has something to do with whether you have rear disk or not? Your right, there isn't a lot of info on line. Joe

Joe-

Thank you for the info. You really need to know your abbreviations when ordering parts.

(I posted this "Q" in the brake forum and ended up following it there. This the first time I looked at your reply. Sorry so late with my, THANKS.)
