For what it is worth, I am also running Silverstar headlight bulbs.
The lights are brighter, whiter and seem to be lasting longer with the wiring upgrades.
The headlight switch is also lots cooler since the only amperage going through it is the very small current to trigger the relay. The dimmer switch also seems to like the change.
